Barkway Local History Group
A friendly organisation devoted to the diverse topic of local history
Barkway is a village and civil parish in North Hertfordshire, England. The village was once a major stopping point on the coaching route from London to Cambridge and the North East of England.
Barkway Local History Group was set up in 2018 by a small number of local residents to investigate, research and preserve the ancient and more recent history of the village for the benefit of residents and the wider community.
